Calving Workshop – January 2023
Manitoba Beef and Forage Initiatives & Eriksdale Recreation Centre
Each workshop will feature the same demonstrations on dealing with various calving issues and calf resuscitation. Participants will have the opportunity for hands on learning with coaching from Dr. Roger Richard, DVM, of the Virden Animal Hospital using Clover the model cow.
Dr. Richard has been in all facets of mixed animal practice over the years including food animal, equine and companion animal along with his main interest, beef production.
Start time: 10am with lunch provided
