“Avary, Emerson, Ivy, Keira, Laura, and Myla’s passion for learning and dedication to leadership make them truly deserving recipients of this year’s scholarships,” remarked Arvid Nottveit, President, Manitoba Beef Producers. “They have achieved this milestone through hard work, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to community service, and on behalf of MBP I wish them all the very best in their studies.”

The application process involves preparing an essay or video submission discussing the topic, “What the beef industry means to my family, my community and Manitoba.” The applications are judged blind by a review committee comprised of MBP staff and directors.

The November edition of the MBP newspaper Cattle Country features the essays from Avary, Emerson, and Ivy with the balance to follow in the December issue available online at https://mbbeef.ca/news/ on or about the beginning of the month.
