Canadian Beef Industry Conference poster competition
MBP is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for students studying agriculture, sustainability, animal science, beef production, environmental sciences, or related fields.
Beginning April 1st, the Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC) Student Poster Competition is accepting abstracts for the 2026 event, taking place August 18–20, 2026, at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, MB.
In addition, graduate students studying topics related to beef sustainability (environment, social or economics), at any point in the supply chain may apply for one of two Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB) Graduate Student Sponsorships, which will cover costs associated with travel, registration and hotel.
Graduate students who receive the CRSB sponsorship will also participate in the CBIC poster competition, and these selected students will present at the CRSB AGM as part of the experience.
Both events provide a valuable opportunity for students to engage and network with leaders and industry representatives from across the beef value chain.
Abstract submissions for both the poster competition and the student sponsorship are due June 1, 2026, within their respective submission form.
