GRILLED STEAK WITH KALE CAESER SALAD AND SMASHED POTATOES
15 minutes | Servings: 4 | Prep: 5 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes (includes resting)
1 ½ lb (750 g) Beef Grilling Steak (tenderloin, top sirloin, strip loin or rib steak)
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
½ tsp (2.5 mL) ground pepper
1 tsp (5 mL) garlic dried flakes
1 tsp (5 mL) onion powder
½ tsp (2.5 mL) hot paprika
1 tsp (5 mL) dried basil
½ tsp (2.5 mL) dried thyme
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, basil and thyme.
- Rub spices on both sides of the steak and allow to marinade while preparing sides.
- Grill meat for 2-3 min on each side for a medium rare steak or cook until desired doneness.
- Serve with Kale Caesar Salad & Smashed Potatoes
